Presentation of the ‘Intellectual Oilield’

On October 26, KGM was visited by Alik Aydarbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board, JSC Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund; Krymbek Kusherbayev, Kyzylorda Oblast Akim; Wei Yuxiang, President, JSC PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources; Kurmangazy Iskaziyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Exploration, Production and Oilfield Services, JSC KazMunaiGaz National Company. The meeting was held in KGM office to present KGM 2018 key performance indicators and the system introduced under the ‘Intellectual Oilfield’ project. The attendees discovered more about the situational control center for main solutions and tools which is already on-line to ensure prompt identification of causes of production decline, reduce downtime, and optimize production. These have made it possible to respond in a timely manner to any changes in production processes. The ‘Intellectual Oilfield’ is gaining considerable popularity among the world leaders in recent years, and has been widely used in a number of successful advanced upstream companies. It should be noted that the ‘Intellectual Oilfield’ project was included in the project group on digitalization initiatives included in the state-run program called ‘Digital Kazakhstan’.
