Reporting Meeting of JV Kazgermunai LLP Management Board with the labor collective on the results of the year 2019

The reporting meeting of JV Kazgermunai LLP Management Board with the labor collective on the results of the year 2019 was held with labor collective at the Akshabulak oilfield sports hall.  Murat Kenesbayevich Mustafayev, General Director presented the Partnership activities report on the result for the last year to the labor collective.

The first in presentation the production and economic indicators of the Partnership, organizational and geological and technical activities that were implemented in 2019, as well as the current production issues, that are undertaking by financial and production personnel of the Company were announced.

The following section of the Board Chairman reporting was the block on Safety and Health Regulation. M. K. Mustafayev presented analyses of production injuries and occupational illness to the gathered personnel, noticed that in comparison with the year 2018 , the number of medical evacuations due to health conditions and the number of disability days were decreased last year. He also praised the collective as there were not any production injuries in the Company noticed in the year 2019, and once again reminded that for JV Kazgermunai LLP the safety of personnel has always been the most important value and shall remain.

 Following the Reporting Meeting, General Director followed the next part of the meeting to the Human Resources block, wherein focus was on the result of the extensive qualification test of production personnel that implemented last year in the Company. Out of the total number of production personnel of 407 people, 382 workers (which are 93.9%) were certified for compliance with the level of qualification and an advanced training for upgrading the categories. Certification was carried out in two stages: the first stage of testing, the second stage of the interview. 332 people passed the first stage of certification successfully. 209 of them decided to take part in the second stage in order to improve the qualification level. In total, according to the result of the certification second stage, more than 150 employees were upgraded. It should be noted that for 50 employees who did not pass the first stage of certification, training was organized and the opportunity was given to proceed with re-test. According to the result of certification, not any employee of the Partnership was dismissed and reduced. Further where the subjects, as follows: development and assessment of personnel, payment of bonuses for 2019, personnel discipline and employee awards were affected.

The Social block was presented by such section as: social payment and compensation, the amount of which has grown significantly compared to 2018, health resort treatment of employees and summer health camps for their children, where there is also an increase in the number of personnel who were on vacations, events and projects to improve social and living conditions of employees, corporate and social important arrangements, sponsorship. The most significant corporate events in 2019 were: grand meeting in honor of the 120th anniversary of Kazakhstan oil with the participation of the Heads of government, Partnership Participants and Honored Veterans of the oil and gas sector at Qyzylorda Region, as well as a gala concert at the main city square for residents and visitors of the city. And the largest projects sponsored by JV Kazgermunai LLP were the completion of the construction and commissioning of the Youth Service Center, located on the left bank of the Syrdarya River.

A great reason for proud and separate section in Report was the Uzdiq Maman contest, in the final of which the employees of JV Kazgermunai LLP showed excellent results: 6 employees won first places, 3 employees won second places, one employee won third place.

M. K. Mustafayev completed the Report by announcing the Company’s plans for 2020.

The next speaker was M. A. Sarsenbayev, Deputy General Director on Human Resources and Social Affairs and he introduced with the integrated study of the Company’s social stability index.

            The Meeting was continued in a question-and-answer format after the reporting part.
