Tian Kejian was born in 1960. In 1984 he graduated from the East China Petroleum Institute, the faculty of “Exploration and Oil Production”, specializing in Engineer-developer of oil fields.

          He has 33 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry, including 30 years’ experience in the oil companies production processes management system. The work experience in the Republic of Kazakhstan is 18 years.

          He started his career in 1984 as an Engineer in the production department of KaramaiMunaiGas, XUAR, PRC. And he was Deputy Chief Engineer in the period until 1997, then Deputy Director for production in the mentioned company.

          From 1997 to 2004 he worked as Deputy Chief Engineer, then Chief Engineer at CNPC-AktobeMunayGas JSC in Aktobe region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

          From 2004 to 2008, he held the position of Deputy General Director of JV KuatAmlonMunai LLP in Kyzylorda region, Republic of Kazakhstan.

          From 2008 to 2014 he worked as General Manager, then General Director of Buzachi Operating Limited in Mangistau region, the Republic of Kazakhstan.

          From 2014 to 2016 he worked as Deputy Chief Engineer of the China National Corporation for Exploration and Development of Oil and Gas (CNODC), Beijing, PRC.

          From 2016 to 2018 he worked as Deputy General Director for production issues of MangistauMunayGaz JSC in Mangistau region, the Republic of Kazakhstan.

          Since June 2018 he is appointed as First Deputy General Director, JV Kazgermunai LLP
