25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On December 14, Akshabulak and Nuraly oilfields hosted events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These were attended by both site personnel and KGM Main Office employees who were transported from Kyzylorda to the oilfield sites in provided vehicles (buses).

The concert & congratulatory program started at 4:00 PM in Nuraly sports hall. Besides KGM management, oilfield administration, site personnel, and KGM Main Office employees, the event was participated by the Members of KGM Board, Ren Lixin, Director General, and Medet Karim, First Deputy Director General, who started the program with their congratulatory speech.

Once KGM Main Office personnel arrived to Akshabulak, they took a tour to the Central Processing Facility and the Camp area. The concert & congratulatory program started at 5:30 PM in the sports hall. Besides the site personnel and KGM Main Office personnel, the event was participated by the Member of KGM Board, Medet Karim, First Deputy General Director.
In the very beginning, Medet Karim read the letter of Kurmangazy Iskaziyev, Director General, JSC KazMunaiGas E&P, who congratulated KGM staff with the 25th anniversary of the RK Independence. Then, Aitbay Kusherbayev, Deputy Director General for General Issues, presented to Medet Karim a letter of gratitude from Krymbek Kusherbayev, Kyzylorda Regional Akim, saying him thanks for his contribution in social and economic development of the local region. Afterwards, the ceremony followed to present certificates of merit and letters of gratitude to KGM personnel from KGM and our Participants: JSC KazMunaiGas E&P and JSC PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources, RK Ministry of Energy, and Kyzylorda Regional Akimat. Amangeldy Dosbayev, Director, Oil & Gas Production Department (Field Manager) was awarded with a medal of RK Ministry of Energy ‘For Contribution in Development of Oil & Gas Industry’.

Audience enjoyed the concert part featuring Kazakhstani stars: Madina Sadvakasova and Asia band for Nuraly; NurMukasan and KeshYou band for Akshabulak. The holiday playlist consisted of patriotic, national and folk songs.
In the end, KGM young employees were assisted by Iveria and Orda dance bands to perform a joint flash-mob lifting the RK state flag and to sing a patriotic song titled ‘My Kazakhstan’.

When the concert & congratulatory program ended, it was followed by a special dinner served for all the present. Afterwards, KGM Main Office personnel departed to Kyzylorda taking the earlier prepared buses.
