Spearheaded by KGM Young Professionals, they met with Kyzylorda high school students in Schools No. 2, 3, 15, and Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS – November 19).
 

During these meetings, our guys showed the video about KGM company, and then they talked about the particularities of getting a job in petroleum industry. They focused on how important it is to choose profession and further life way. The high school students will have to make this choice in the nearest future, that’s why they turned much attention on this and started ambitious conversations. They mainly put questions and told about their personal plans and intentions. KGM guys gave answers to all questions giving examples from their own life and job experience. Most of the students showed interest to becoming engineers and technicians, especially in oil & gas sector. They said they would work there because they want to make innovations and use environment-friendly solutions in petroleum operations. Some students are willing to visit EXPO-2017 in Astana next summer in order to visually see the ‘green’ technologies. Moreover, some of them have already firmly decided to seek job in a local petroleum company, particularly in KGM knowing us as a prestigious and tech-advanced enterprise.
 

In the end of the meetings, most active students got KGM corporate stationery packs as gifts including notebooks, pens, etc. with the official logo of their favorite oil & gas company.
