Visit of Eni Specialists

Delegation of Italian oil & gas corporation Eni, including 9 specialists and an interpreter, have arrived to KGM in the company of KazMunaiGas E&P representatives.

Visitors started from Akshabulak, Nuraly, and Aksai oilfields where they got acquainted with several production facilities, such as Central Processing Facilities, Gas Treatment Plant, Water Pumping Station, Polymer Injection Site, Automated Measuring Unit, and some well (ESP, sucker rod pumps, drilling).

"During the visit, the Italian specialists were demonstrated the operations in production facilities; engineering approach in solving the problems related to more efficient operation of artificial wells; longer time between overhauls, horizontal well drilling; and, higher oil recovery through polymer flooding. They received answers to all their technical inquiries. Several issues were discussed in common during the slideshow presentation."

As the result of the visit, Eni specialist noted high level of technological infrastructure, safe operations in all facilities, modern equipment and innovations available in KGM oilfields. They also marked high competency of KGM managers and technicians who provided detailed information of the interest. KGM specialist and KMG E&P representatives received thanks for arranging the visit.
