A Sporty Family of My Father, Mother and Me

In honor of the International Children's Day, KGM organized the traditional contest named ‘A Sporty Family of My Father, Mother and Me’ in Eurasia gym. KGM employees and their family members took part in this contest, including kids under 10. This year we were joined by a team of kids residing in Baikonur house of Atameken kinderdorf SOS-village.

After complimentary speech by Ren Lixin, KGM Director General, and Rustem Ussaliyev, Director of Social Policy Department, the participating teams started contests in several stages including football and basketball dribbling, assault course, darts, rope pulling, etc. Supporters in person of KGM employees and their family members actively supported their colleagues and relatives on their way to victory.

According to the contest results, all teams were awarded full sport outfits for every family member. In a joyful and festive environment, kids were happy to get their prizes, whilst their parents expressed gratitude to KGM for the holiday spirit.

Upon completion of the sports event, KGM young specialists invited Atameken kinderdorf SOS-village children to auyzashar in Registan restaurant where a festive dastarkhan was laid specially for them.
