Anti-terrorism security training exercises were conducted at the oil treatment and pumping workshop of the Akshabulak field operated by Kazgermunai JV LLP.

The purpose of the training was to improve coordination between personnel, law enforcement agencies, and special services during simulated threats, actions of security personnel when detecting a suspicious object resembling an explosive device, as well as to enhance the readiness of the company’s facilities to respond to emergency situations.

In addition to company employees, units of the law enforcement agencies of the Kyzylorda region took part in the event: the Kyzylorda Region Police Department (including “Arlan”, SOBR, the Department for Countering Extremism, the Information Policy Department, and the investigative-operational group), the Syrdarya District Police Department, the Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Kyzylorda Region, the Department for Emergency Situations of the Kyzylorda Region, "Semser – Ort sondirushi" LLP, "KMG-Security" LLP, «Halyk Stroy Project» LLP and the medical service "Interteach Medical Assistance." A total of 59 people took part in the exercises.

During the exercises, measures for securing and defending the facility, alert and evacuation procedures, interaction between rapid response groups and law enforcement units, as well as practical elements of neutralizing a simulated threat were practiced.

Results

The training exercises were conducted successfully. All participating structures demonstrated a high level of preparedness, coordination, and operational responsiveness. The exercises confirmed that the facilities of Kazgermunai JV LLP are ready for joint actions with security agencies in the event of potential threats and emergency situations.
