The grand meeting has held in Kyzylorda in Oner Ortalygy (Art Center) with the participation of Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kudaibergen Arymbek, Chairman of the Board of the National Company KazMunayGas Askhat Khassenov and Akim of the Kyzylorda Region Nurlybek Nalibayev.

The festive concert has prepared for the Region oilmen and oil industry Veterans where the popular Kyzylorda artists have performed. Jubilee Medals, Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation have presented to the best employees of the City's Oil-Production Companies and oilmen who got retired due to pension ages and made a significant contribution to the development of the field activity.

 Askhat Khassenov thanked in an address to the Kyzylorda oilmen for their dedication and hard work and noted as well that over 125 years, Kazakhstan's Oil and Gas industry has achieved phenomenal growth and has become the engine of Kazakhstan's economic progress.

"Over these 125 years, the domestic oil and gas industry has come a long way, becoming the driving force of the country's economic growth. The work of oil workers contributes not only to the development of Kazakhstan's energy potential, but also to the improvement of the well-being of our regions. We are proud and immensely grateful to our valiant veterans for their honest work and invaluable contribution to our common future, thanks to which we look forward to tomorrow with confidence," said Askhat Khasenov, head of KMG. Kazgermunai Joint Venture LLP participates annually in charity, sponsorship activities and in the implementation of major social projects in the region. The company has financed the construction of a modern multifunctional school Palace for 350 children in Kyzylorda.

In total, about 20 Production and Services oilfield Companies operate in the Kyzylorda Region. One of the largest is JV Kazgermunai LLP (shares in the joint venture are owned on a parity basis by NC KazMunaiGas JSC and PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources JSC.) Last year, the Company celebrated its 30 years. Moreover, the accumulated oil production of KGM amounted to more than 55.7 million tons. The Company employing 729 people, more than 150 million KZT has allocated annually for Sponsorship and charity in the Region, and the amount of all tax payments of the Partnership over the past 10 years has exceeded 1 trillion KZT. Kazgermunai is also involved in the implementation of major social projects. Presently, in order of 2.4 billion KZT authorized allocation by the Company is under construction of the modern multifunctional Palace of School for 350 children.

The celebration of the significant date started celebrating in Kyzylorda City and then hand over it to Aktobe City. Further Atyrau will take up an estafette and then Aktau, where the events will be held on August 28.
