In honor of June 1 International Children's Day, JV Kazgermunai LLP continued their annual tradition of organizing holiday for children to take special care of kids. On June 1, Kusherbayev K.E., Akim of Kyzylorda Region, engaged ceremonial opening of the family type children's village called ‘Atameken’ which has been built with the sponsorship of KGM Participant, JSC PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources. The opening ceremony was attended by the top management of JSC PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources in person of Wei Yuxiang, President, and representatives of the largest enterprises in Kyzylorda region, including JV Kazgermunai LLP.
The Partnership has assumed patronage of the eight children staying at Baikonur house in the above mentioned village. On the holiday eve, Social Development Division in collaboration with Young Specialists Union brought these children to Zhibek Zholy mall where they did shopping to choose elegant branded clothes for themselves. The Partnership has fulfilled the kid’ wishes and presented them mobile phones and a bike for the youngest boy Yersultan, 5. The necessary money was provided by KGM Trade Union Committee. This is only the first care shown by KGM for these children. A range of activities are to be arranged in which they will participate.
In addition, Young Specialists Union organized a festive event in Zhibek Zholy mall. All and any kids were invited to watch free cartoon ‘Mune, le Gardien de la Lune’, ate ice cream and sweets. There were many kids, so the holiday was full of kids’ pure joy and happy smiles.
