On April 21, 2019 the annual international charity Almaty Marathon took place inAlmaty. The marathon was first organized in 2012 and 2 500 people took part in it. This year17 000 people officially registered in the marathon.

The registration fee of 130 000 tenge is traditionally used to support children with specialneeds. Thus the marathon participants will not only join the healthy lifestyle but also providecharitable assistance to the needy children.

The team of JV Kazgermunai LLP took part in a team relay Almaty Marathon 2019 Outof 113 participating teams our team took 64th place showing a team time of 4 hours 13minutes and 33 seconds.

The KGM team included:

1. 1.Myrzabekova Aynur - Head of the Representative Office in Almaty, who ran 5 km.
2. 2. Azhigaliev Maksat - Senior specialist of the marketing department, who ran 10 km.
3. 3. Ayapov Yerzhan – Lead economist of the planning department, who ran 5 km.
4. 4. Bakhtiyar Ismakhun - Lead accountant for IFRS, who ran 10 km.
5. 5. Sergey Kim - Head of controlling department, who ran 5 km.
6. 6. Bekbolat Alikhan - Administrative Work Manager, who ran 7,195 km.
