Kazgermunai continues systematic work to replenish reserves and prolong the life of its fields

With reserves depleted at 89%, the Company implements a set of measures for additional exploration and search for new promising blocks.
As of 01.01.2026, due to the positive results of geological exploration, the reserves at the fields were recalculated:
- Central Akshabulak
- South Akshabulak
Results:
– Increase in recoverable C1 oil reserves: 447 thousand tons
– Actual oil production in 2025: 906 thousand tons
– Degree of replenishment of production: 50%
– Stock replenishment ratio: 0.5
Central Akshabulak
In 2025, a set of measures was implemented for additional exploration of transit horizons using hydraulic fracturing. Stocks have been transferred from category C2 to C1.
Increase – 226 thousand tons.
South Akshabulak
After the recalculation in 2021, 3 appraisal wells were drilled with core sampling and special studies, as well as 12 production wells. The geological structure of the fields has been clarified.
The increase – 221 thousand tons.
The consistent work on additional exploration of mature assets demonstrates the potential of the fields and confirms the sustainability of the Company's production strategy.
