During the IX annual Forum of General Directors of subsidiaries of JSC NC KazMunayGas, Kazgermunai was recognized for its achievements in the field of occupational safety and environmental protection. In particular, the company was recognized as the best "For its performance in ensuring fire safety."

This achievement was made possible thanks to the ongoing preventive work to prevent fires and fires at the facilities of JV Kazgermunai LLP. These include: work on the modernization of existing fire automation systems, measures to improve the material and technical base of the fire service, conducting planned and unscheduled fire-fighting exercises and trainings, including with the participation of government agencies. In addition, competitions are held every three years at fishing facilities between voluntary fire fighting units of production sites.

Over the past 2024, according to the results of inspections in the field of fire safety by state authorities, there were no administrative violations at Kazgermunai, the fire automation system at production facilities was in good working order, the well sites were provided with gas analyzers, the measures of the comprehensive fire safety plan for 2022-2024 were fully implemented, repairs were carried out in all three fire stations. No fires were registered at the company's facilities.
