Memory That Unites Generations

As part of the long-standing “Qarttarym – Asyl Qazyna” campaign, employees of KGM LLP congratulated World War II veteran Yakhiya Tasyrov, a resident of the village of Terenozek in the Syrdarya district.
His frontline journey began near Stalingrad in 1942. He fought in fierce battles, was wounded near Kursk and Berlin, and returned home only in 1946. The veteran’s courage and resilience remain an example for future generations.
For the second consecutive year, the company has installed a “Wall of Memory” featuring photographs of employees’ fathers and grandfathers who participated in World War II. The project has become an important symbol of preserving historical memory and strengthening the continuity between generations.
The initiative was further continued through the corporate campaign “Thank You for the Victory: My Family’s Story,” in which Kazgermunai employees share stories about their veteran relatives, preserving the memory of the generation of Victors and their heroic legacy.
