JV Kazgermunai LLP held a qualifying round of the Best in Profession competition 2023

On 18 and 19 July, JV Kazgermunai LLP hosted the qualifying round of the annual professional skills competition "Best in Profession". The winners of the competition will defend the company's honour in the final stage, which will be held in Aktau in the fields of Karazhanbasmunai JSC among the working specialties of the group of companies of NC KazMunayGas JSC.

Kazgermunai held a competition in 15 categories. The best in their professions were:

Laboratory technician of chemical analysis - Irina Sirichenko

Compressor Plant Operator - Maksimov Maksimov

Pump plant operator - Absamatov Galym

Oil and Gas Production Operator - Kemalov Uzak

Well research operator - Usmanov Daniyar

Mechanised well operator - Ardak Kurbanov

Reservoir pressure maintenance operator - Zarkumov Rauan

Well chemical treatment operator - Suleimenov Zhandos

Operator of technological installations - Asilov Rustam

Oil treatment operator - Rinat Protsko

Instrumentation and automation fitter - Muratbek Kystaubaev

Technician on repair and maintenance of technological equipment - Irsaitov Kanat

Turner - Abiyev Bolatbek

Electric and gas welder - Rakhymzhan Utarbayev

Electrician - Baymenov Yerlan

The competition was held in two stages: the first stage was a test of theoretical knowledge. A total of 119 employees of the enterprise took part in it. The method of the first stage of the contest was computer testing. The second stage was a practical task fulfilment, which took place directly at the production facilities.

The main criteria for evaluating the results of the contestants, on the basis of which the results were summarised, were:

1. level of theoretical training;

2. quality of fulfilment of the practical task within the established time limits;

3. compliance with the rules of occupational health and safety;

4. labour productivity;

5. application of advanced forms and methods of labour.
