At the palace of Independence in Astana in the presence of the Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev LLP “JV “Kazgermunai” received the next gold “Paryz” in the nomination “For contribution to ecology”. All in all more than one hundred companies took a part in this nomination. In previous years LLP “JV “Kazgermunai” used to participate and become the winner of “Paryz” award in the following nominations: in 2010 – the “Best socially responsible enterprise” and in 2011 – the “Best collective agreement”. The Company is aiming to produce works with the minimal formation of industrial wastes and emissions. As from 2006 the program of associated oil gas utilization was developed and successfully completed and the gas treatment unit capable of processing 500 million cubic meters of associated gas was constructed. Owing to this the population of Kyzylorda city is provided with the natural gas. The main indicator of efficiency of environmental work is the relation of volumes of environmental pollutant emissions to the quantity of products outputted. In 2012 this indicator decreased by 30 percent in comparison with the year 2011 and was 0.8 kilogram for 1 ton of products outputted. Achievement of such significant results is a desert of staff members of the labor protection and ecology department to a large extent. This department is headed by Rustem Usaliyev and its deputy is Asiya Kharullayeva. The specialists with big work experience in the oil and gas industry work in the department: leading environmental engineer Aida Baratova, environmental field ecologists Naizabek Koishybayev and Inessa Ramazanova.
