On November 28, 2020   Ministry of Energy N.A. Nogayev visited Akshabulak oilfield within the framework of working visit at the Kyzylorda Region. The purpose of the visit was review of Control Center of “Digital Oil Field” project.

Vice-President of Energy K B. Rakhimov, Akim of the Kyzyloda Region  G. N. Abdykalikova, Head of the Department of Industrial-Innovative  Development of the Kyzylorda Region R. K. Sultangereev were also represented on the delegation that visited of JV Kazgermunai LLP oilfield.

The visitors were presented not only with the Control Center of “Digital Oil Field” project, but also with the presentation on its implementation.  This included information on the project Road Map, the well funds’ status, installations, units and equipment, drilling and measuring units before the start of the project and as of the current date that received in the process of benefits and results realization, as well as calculation of the project’s effectiveness assessment for the period through 2028 including.

It should be reminded that for this project, JV Kazgermunai LLP together with Kazakhstan team of Schlumberger was awarded the bronze award in the competition that are carried out internal within the Schlumberger Company to identify the best projects  from all over the world. The “Digital Oil Field” from JV Kazgermunai LLP was one of 600 projects, nominated by various Schlumberger divisions.
