On August 23, 2019 in the fire station of the Akshabulak field, as part of the events dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Kazakhstani oil the first fire safety contest “Fire does not forgive” was held among the employees of the Partnership and the long-term contractors. The main goals and objectives of the contest are: promotion of fire safety knowledge among staff, improving staff skills in using primary fire extinguishing agents, developing practical skills and proper behavior in emergency situations

In total, fourteen teams took part in the contest, four people in each team. Out of them, nine teams represented production units and head office of “JV“ Kazgermunai ” LLP and five teams were long-term contracting organizations. For an objective and professional assessment of the contest participants, the sports masters, fire and rescue sports trainers of the Kyzylorda region were involved.

Состязания включали в себя два вида упражнений: пожарную эстафету, состоявшую как из практической, так и теоретической части, и боевое развертывание. Участники конкурса не просто выполняли все условия конкурса, но и совершенствовали свои навыки, а также наглядно продемонстрировали зрителям способы применения средств пожаротушения и методы работы в команде при экстремальной ситуации.

The contest included two types of exercises: a fire relay race, which consisted of both practical and theoretical parts, and combat deployment. The contest participants not only fulfilled all the conditions of the competition, but also improved their skills, as well as clearly demonstrated to the audience how to use fire extinguishing means and methods of working in a team in an emergency.

As a result, the prizes were distributed as follows:

1 place -Energy Service team of Aқshabulak oilfield

2nd place - Team of the Oil Preparation and Pumping Center

3rd place - Team of the Gas Preparation and Transportation Center

All winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable prizes. The winners of the tournament won a special challenge cup and all participants were encouraged with prizes. The audience  of the event were not just active fans, but also got the opportunity to consolidate the information on fire safety by taking part in the quiz. The most of them, who answered the questions correctly have also received incentive prizes. “Kazgermunai” JV LLP plans to make this tournament every year and gradually expand the number of its participants.
