Ren Lixin
Mr. Ren was born in 1968. In 1990, he graduated from Daqing Petroleum Institute, majoring in oil production, and in 2012 - Institute of Petroleum Engineering "China University of Petroleum". Mr. Ren holds a Doctor’s degree in Oil & Gas.
He has 25 years of professional experience in oil and gas industry, including 10 years employment history in Kazakhstan.
In 1990, he embarked upon a career as a Geologist, then promoted to the Leading Geologist of "Daqingneft" in China.
From 1993 to 1994, he worked as an Import & Export Business Specialist in "Daqing Petroleum Technology Import & Export Company".
From 1994 to 2000, he held the positions of Reservoir Engineering Specialist, Deputy Chief of Crew, and Leading Engineer of production workshop and Assistant to Production Foreman in "Daqingneft" LLC.
Since 2000, he continued his career in Kazakhstan and the following four years he has drawn on his experience as
Reservoir Engineer, Assistant to Director of the Research Institute, Deputy Chief Geologist, Deputy Head of the Oil & Gas Production Department "Kenkiyakneft" in JSC "CNPC-Aktobe" in Aktobe.
From August 2004 to December 2005, he worked as Deputy General Director of "Kazakhstan-China Pipeline" LLP in Almaty.
In 2005, he was appointed as Vice President for Joint Ventures in "PetroKazakstan Inc." in Almaty.
Having sufficient experience and good knowledge in oil and gas fields development in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh oil policy, in June 2006, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of "JV "Kazgermunai" LLP in Kyzylorda.
Three years after he was back China again to hold a managerial position in CNODC.
In June 2015, he joined "JV "Kazgermunai" LLP as the General Director.
He is keen on sports and Chinese landscape painting.
