1H2025 Reporting Meeting of the Board with the personnel was held in Akshabulak. Online connected those on the rest between shifts and office personnel.

Main production indicators:

‐ crude oil production – 456.6 ths tons (3.2 ths tons over plan)

‐ gas production – 137.7 mln m3

In his address to the personnel, Ziyash Kiyakbayev, Director General, primarily drew attention to Health & Safety, despite the fact that no accidents or violations of Vital Rules was registered among KGM own staff during the reporting period. At the same time, he noted the facts of violations by contractors, which requires cause analysis and strict supervision in order to avoid such in the future.

During the reporting period 3 wells were commissioned and 9 wells were equipped; construction of GU-1 – AGZU-6 – Akshabulak CPF fiberglass pipeline completed; commissioned: boiler plant at Kumkol Crude Oil Heat and Transport Station; General Electric (Baker Hughes) injection pipe No. 3 at Nuraly RPMS; Akshabulak CPF OZNA-Massomer; Akshabulak GTP Commercial Gas Metering Unit. Digital solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, such as electronic security clearance and a mobile crawler, are in progress.

1H2025 financial and economic activity has also demonstrated targets achieved. At the same time, amid the ongoing decline of oil production, widespread cost optimization has been taken place, in particular, non-production costs.

KGM has fully fulfilled its social obligations to the personnel, including: quarterly and holiday bonuses, payments under Collective Agreement; in addition, assistance has been provided to employees in need. In accordance with Collective Agreement, sanatorium recreation and children's summer camps have been provided entirely at the KGM’s expense.

During the first half-year, our empoyees took part in a number of socially significant events: environmental campaign “Clean Kazakhsta”, Nauryznama decade, regional conference dedicated to the Geology Day.

At the end of the meeting, the staff was presented with the results of the sociological survey conducted by the Center for Social Interaction and Communications using Samruk-Kazyna methodology. Consolidated 1H2025 index is 74%, which is higher than the index for the first 6 and 12 months of 2024 by 2 and 4 percentage points, respectively.
