"Best in Profession" Competition started in Kyzylorda

On October 3, at the head office of JV Kazgermunai LLP in the city of Kyzylorda, the competition "Best in Profession" among the working specialties of NC KazMunayGas JSC group of companies started.
120 participants from 17 leading enterprises of the oil and gas industry of Atyrau, Mangystau, Aktobe, Pavlodar, and South Kazakhstan regions gathered in Kyzylorda. The purpose of this competition is to increase motivation of industrial personnel, to identify, generalize and disseminate best work experience, improve the professional level and theoretical training of workers, develop their creative activity, as well as introduce advanced methods and techniques of labor, production efficiency and increase the prestige of working professions in the oil and gas industries.
The competition is held in the following specialties: oil and gas production operator, well survey operator, commodity operator, reservoir pressure maintenance operator, process equipment repair and maintenance technician, electric and gas welder, electrician, chemical analysis laboratory assistant, process unit operator, compressor unit operator, well workover team, PRS team.
After the opening ceremony of the competition, its first stage was held - a test of theoretical knowledge. The method of conducting the first stage of the competition is computer testing.
On October 4 and 5, the contestants are waiting for the second stage - implementation of practical tasks, which will take place at Akshabulak and Nuraly fields.
