KGM management decided to arrange explanatory activities for our personnel regarding COVID-19 vaccination. On February 19, KGM office hosted representatives of Kyzylorda Health Care Department to conduct an online meeting with KGM Office personnel in Kyzylorda, Almaty, and Nur-Sultan. The meeting included a presentation about the ongoing vaccination campaign in Kazakhstan which started February 1.

Abdikaimova A.M., Deputy Head of Kyzylorda Sanitary-Epidemiological Department made a speech on the current COVID-19 situation and measures undertaken by the government in order to stop the spread of coronavirus disease. She also informed about number and social distribution of local population who have already taken vaccine.

Thereon, the meeting attendees were presented slides containing details of Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V) vaccine description, its pharmacological properties, immune efficiency, indications and contra-indications, storage conditions.

Most part of the online meeting provided for answers to KGM personnel’s questions.

On February 22 and 23, a similar explanatory work was carried out for Nuraly and Akshabulak  oilfields’ workers.
