On August 26, in the fire station at Akshabulak field, a fire safety competition “Fire does not forgive mistakes” was held among employees of the partnership and long-term contractors. The main goals and objectives of the competition are: promotion of fire safety knowledge among personnel, improvement of personnel skills in the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment, development of skills in practical actions and correct behavior in emergency situations.

Eight teams took part in the tournament. For an objective and professional assessment of the participants of the competition, masters of sports, fire and rescue sports coaches of Kyzylorda region were involved in judging.

The competition included two types of exercises: a fire relay race, which consisted of both a practical and a theoretical part, and a combat deployment. The participants of the competition not only fulfilled all the conditions of the competition, but also improved their skills, and also clearly demonstrated to the audience how to use fire extinguishing equipment and how to work in a team in an emergency.

As a result, prizes were distributed as follows:

1st place – OGPD team of Akshabulak field

2nd place - OGPD team of Aksai field

3rd place - Energy Service

The winners of the tournament won a special challenge cup, because this competition is held in the company for the second time. All winners were awarded certificates of honor and memorable prizes. The spectators of the event were not just active fans, but also had the opportunity to consolidate the information received on fire safety by taking part in a quiz. The most attentive of them, who correctly answered the questions, also got consolation prizes.
