The сchancellery division of "JV "Kazgermunai" LLP has prepared a kind of gift to the company's staff for the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas industry of Kazakhstan. By the initiative head of the division Saltanat Tokmurzayeva, who was supported by all subordinates, the shooting of a literary evening dedicated to the great thinker and poet Abai Kunanbayev was organized. The resulting video was sent through internal communication channels and is available for viewing to all employees of Kazgermunai.

- Unfortunately, this is the second year that we have all experienced great difficulties associated with the pandemic. But people still want warmth and beauty, they want to escape from the pressing problems and monotonous everyday life! Therefore, I invited my colleagues to immerse into the world of Abai's poetry, and we prepared such small Abai readings. After all, Abai Kunanbayev is not just a poet, educator and composer for our people, he is a real pillar of the Kazakh national intelligentsia and the founder of written Kazakh literature. His works have not lost their relevance, despite the change of centuries, the political system and formation, - says Saltanat Tokmurzayeva.

- Of course, I would like to hold a full-fledged literary evening with the participation of not only employees of the office, but also all departments of our company. However, the epidemiological situation, wellaway, does not allow this. Nevertheless, the format we have chosen has also found a great response in the hearts of Kazgermunai staff. After the video was published, I received a large number of messages from colleagues with words of gratitude and encouragement, S. Tokmurzayeva shares.

She also emphasizes that the decision to organize this event this year was influenced by the fact that 2021 is the year of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. And one of the main attributes of any sovereign state is the national language. And holding such events is a kind of tribute to respect and love for the native Kazakh language, as well as a way to attract people to study it.

It should be noted that the children of some of the employees of the chancellery division also took part in the shooting. He is the son of Svetlana Kurmanbayeva, assistant to Deputy General Directors for Economics and Finance, and the daughter of Suleimenova Ardak, assistant to Deputy General Directors for Geology. The girls agree that such an experience is very useful for their children, that it is a wonderful way to instill in the younger generation a love for their native culture and language, as well as an opportunity to pass on the right values to them.
