An online - Meeting of Management Board with the labor collective was held at JV Kazgermunai LLP

External and internal communications have become particularly relevant for the corporate sector in the situation of pandemics. Since society and business have changed in the past and have shown that only a Company with strong corporate culture and steadily team spirit can go through the crisis with the minimum losses. In order to maintain with the team to cooperate at the proper level, Top Management needs to provide continues feedback to their collective, choosing most effective ways (tools and channels) to target audience.
Back long time before the start of the pandemic, JV Kazgemunai LLP developed the Rules of internal communications between Company’s Management and its employees. But, unfortunately, some types of communications have become impossible due to the risk of the spread of coronavirus infection. During 2020, the Company tested a number of new types of communications. That is video-message from the Board broadcast on the special separate TV channels, place an announcements and other information to the WhatsApp working chats that activated for this purpose. On March 1 and 2 of this year, another type of internal communication was tested in Kazgermunai - an online meeting of the Management Board with the labor collective.
The online meeting was conducted via video-conference using the Microsoft Teams desktops computers/mobile program. In order to participate in the meeting, KGM employees just needed to download the above application on their smartphones in advance, in which the collective was provided with information and technical support from the Department of Information Technologies and Communications.
During the online-meeting, M.K. Mustafayev, General Director of the company addressed the participants. He congratulated his colleagues on Thanksgiving Day, expressing gratitude for the understanding and support provided to the Managements at this difficult time for everyone. He also recalled that the results of the activities of JV Kazgermunai LLP for 2020 that were presented to employees earlier through the video-message broadcast.
Nevertheless, he decided to hold an online-meeting in order to establish internal communications and provide direct answers to questions of interest to the collective.
Following that introduction, M. Mustafayev presented the results of the Company's social stability index study, carried out by the Center for Social Interaction and Communication under Samruk-Kazyna JSC via telephone interviews of Kazgermunai employees in the period of October-November 2020.
Further, Murat Kenesbaevich elaborated on the projects that the Company develops and agrees with the Participants of the Partnership in order to contribute the resource base of the Company and improving its profitability. The communication concerned the four projects: deep- drilling the formation of Paleozoic, sales of gas from the South Aksai field, the use of own gas to generate electricity for their own needs, and the acquisition of new blocks for exploitation. He noted that the performance of this detailed information is aimed and meant to eliminating pessimistic in the collective regarding the future of Kazgermunai JV LLP.
Further, General Director continued the online meeting by answering the questions of the participants. M. Mustafayev completed the online- meeting by congratulation the women of the Company on the upcoming International Women's Day on March 8
