Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas visited Akshabulak field

Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas, during his working trip to Kyzylorda visited the Akshabulak field of JV Kazgermunai LLP.Previously there was a large and small canteen with 80 and 30 seats respectively. While there are 198 company employees on a single shift at Akshabulak, including day and night shifts. There was no assembly hall at the field. This facility is intended not only for catering, but also allows for cultural events: solemn meetings, report meetings of the Management Board with the workforce. It is equipped with a large stage, multimedia equipment with remote access, and all necessary equipment in accordance with sanitary and hygienic requirements for catering. The total area of the building is 1,395.4 m2

The Chairman of the Management Board was then shown the dashboards of the Operational Control Centre established as part of the “Smart Field” project. The Centre is responsible for primary data collection from automated systems, telemetry systems, their processing, checking and verification. Establishment of the centre was preceded by telemechanisation of the main producing well stock at the Akshabulak field and introduction of centralised monitoring and control systems for process facilities.

A report on the Turgai-Paleozoic project was presented at these panels. In February 2019, specialists of KMG Engineering LLP and JV Kazgermunai LLP identified a potential target in deep Paleozoic sediments within the Akshabulak South field based on the 2001 seismic zone.  Currently, preparatory work is being carried out for further exploration work.

The Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC "KMG" was also familiarized with the wellhead of AKSh-502.
