Kazgermunai: new projects and competitions for line managers — motivation and engagement in action

On January 17, at the Akshabulak field, the management of JV Kazgermunai LLP held a meeting dedicated to increasing staff engagement, creating a culture of innovation and launching a new Bank of Ideas project. The event brought together the line managers of the fishery: heads of services and sites.
General Director of the company Ziyash Kiyakbayev opened the meeting with words of gratitude to his colleagues: "As you know, 2025 was declared the Year of Working Professions by the Head of Kazakhstan. Our company employs 380 people representing working professions. And this is over 52% of Kazgermunai's staff. Your daily work is the key to ensuring energy security and economic prosperity of the Kyzylorda region. That is why we have gathered today to discuss the participation of each of you in improving the work of our company. The importance and relevance of your ideas cannot be overestimated, especially in the context of a natural decline in reserves in our fields. Today, it depends on you and me how much we can maintain production efficiency," he said, emphasizing the role of working professions in the company's success.
Botagoz Ashirbekova, Deputy Director General for Human Resources and Social Affairs, made a key presentation on the Bank of Ideas project. "The goal of the project is to involve employees in the process of improving the company's work by offering the opportunity to come up with ideas that will help make our work safer, more productive and more economical. We will reward each idea submitted by you and possible for implementation with a one time payment of 5,000 tenge," she said, adding that ideas can be submitted both electronically and through special boxes. Botagoz Serikbayevna focused on the criteria for evaluating ideas: relevance, practical benefits and economic impact.
Next, information was provided about the competition for line managers, which will include four nominations: "The Best master of the Year", "The Best site Supervisor", "The Best Innovator" and "The Best Mentor of the Year". The competition is aimed at increasing the motivation of line managers and encouraging their active participation in the implementation of new ideas.
During the discussion of organizational issues, the meeting participants actively shared suggestions, asked many questions, and showed interest and enthusiasm for new initiatives. Line managers have committed themselves to bringing information about the project to the staff of their departments.
In conclusion, Ziyash Kaldybekovich noted: "We look forward to your participation and support for these projects, which will help not only improve the company's work, but also make our team stronger and more efficient."
The event was an important step in increasing staff engagement and creating conditions for the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving production efficiency and workplace safety.
